We process payments with various payment gateways, with an external payments platform that allows you to process transactions with various payment methods. Funds from your sales on Ebazaar will be deposited into your selected bank account or payout method.

Listing and adding products on your digital store and ebazaar is completely free. However, Ebazaar will charge 1% GST TCS Which must be collected and paid to the Government by ebazaar. This 1% gst tcs will be charged on the total value of the sale and must be paid by the seller/store owner after a successful product sale. (T&C Applicable)

Here are some common questions about selling on ebazaar

How do fees work on ebazaar?

Joining and starting a shop on ebazaar is free. There are two type of basic selling fees: a transaction fee, and a TCS government tax fee.

Its completely free to make your own digital store and adding products on ebazaar. A listing lasts for a lifetime or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, there is a 2.5% transaction fee on the sale price,1% GST TCS and 1.5% ebazaar fee (not including shipping costs). If you accept payments with PayPal, there is also a payment processing fee based on their fee structure.

You can also upgrade to ebazaar premium packages to avoid transaction fees & ebazaar Commission, However GST TCS is a compulsory deduction Once you’ve upgraded or become a premium ebazaar member then you don’t have to pay Ebazaar Fee & Transaction cost, the amount may differ based on changes in the exchange rate.

What do I need to do to create a shop?

It’s easy to set up a shop on Ebazaar. Create an Ebazaar account (if you don’t already have one), set your shop location and currency, choose a shop name, create a listing, set a payment method (how you want to be paid), and finally set a billing method (how you want to pay your Ebazaar fees).

How do I get paid?

If you accept payments with PayPal, funds from PayPal sales on Ebazaar will be deposit into your PayPal account. We encourage sellers to use a PayPal Business account and not a Personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receiving limits and cannot accept payments from buyers that are funded by a credit card.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop on Ebazaar India, However, If you’re buying or upgrading to the Premium Seller Membership plan then you need to pay the amount according to the plan you’ve selected. To make payment credit card/debit card, Netbanking, Wallet or UPI. etc, All payment methods are accepted.
(For U.S. Citizen or Other Countries than India) No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. To be verified as a seller you have the choice to use either a credit card or to register via PayPal. You will not incur any charges until you open your shop and publish your listings.
